FLASH DRYING PROCESS OVERVIEW
Wet feed is dispersed into a high-velocity stream of heated air or gas, enabling rapid moisture evaporation. The dried product is then separated from the gas stream using a cyclone, bag filter or suitable separation system.
Key Point: Flash dryers work best when the wet feed is uniformly dispersed into the hot gas stream, providing high surface area for rapid moisture removal.
